Core Belief

Story so far

Airborne delivers life-saving medical care and life-changing health educational resources to remote communities in Botswana and neighboring countries such as Malawi, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Airborne Lifeline unites medical experts covering diverse healthcare specialities, local pilots and aircraft, with underserved communities in remote locations, ensuring that nobody’s healthcare is penalized due to where they live.

A registered charity in the U.S. and a registered not-for-profit in Botswana, Airborne Foundation was founded in 2004 by Johnathan Miller, the former Africa Regional Director of the Peace Corps. In Botswana, Airborne Lifeline Foundation is under the local leadership of Tammi McAllister, one of the longest-serving, female bush pilots in sub-Saharan Africa.
